Honesty!

What is honesty? Is it what we tell others or is it what we tell ourselves. Is it easy to forget the truth, or is it just harder to remember it? Do we make our own truths? I'm using a lot of question marks here but is that the point? Are there always question marks? Or is there some certainty at some point? All question marks aside, it's a fine line, in my opinion. My high school moto was "The truth will set you free". Growing up, as somewhat of a delinquent, I felt like i had little need for "the truth" but i found out that it was such a surprise to the powers that be when i actually did use that philosophy at times that they were so shocked and i was exonerated! lol. I have blamed my past sneakiness and belligerence on my birth mother and her possible genetic influence but have since discovered that we make our own choices in life. Choice is the most used verb in the English language and for a good reason. We choose our own paths however good or bad. I've been told before that one of my own downfalls is that i am too honest. Is there such a thing? Perhaps there is! I guess finding the fine line between what you say and what you want to say is the answer. That is something that will always be up for debate and i guess that is why i ramble in my blog!!! Be honest to your family and the ones that you love but at the end of the day if you can't be honest with yourself you might as well give up now!
